Built for Perth sand, not textbook soil
Most of the metro area sits on Bassendean or Spearwood sand — it drains fast, holds almost no nutrient, and turns hydrophobic by January. Every Dawson build includes soil improvement to at least 150mm with a bentonite clay and compost blend under lawn and garden beds. It is the least visible line on the quote and the single biggest reason a garden still looks good in its third summer.

How long does the design stage take?
Site measure within a week of your call, concept plan about ten working days after that. One round of revisions is included, and most clients only need one.
Do I have to use you for the build?
No. The plan is yours. If you take it elsewhere the design fee stands; if you build with us it comes off the first progress claim.
Can you work around a pool going in later?
Yes, and it is worth telling us early. We sleeve reticulation and conduit under paving so the pool builder is not jackhammering a finished patio next winter.
