What a job like this starts with
The owners had just finished a pool and were left with builder’s sand, a temporary fence and no shade. They wanted something that looked established quickly, coped with salt wind off the coast, and did not need daily watering.
What the work involves
- Levels corrected and soil improved to 500mm through all planting beds
- Reconstituted limestone retaining to hold the level change to the pool surround
- Exposed aggregate pool surround with a non-slip finish
- Coastal-tolerant planting: olive tree, cushion bush, cousin it, westringia
- Subsurface retic through beds and TifTuf couch grass for the lawn
What you end up with
Handed over in five weeks. Water use through the first summer measured about 40% below the household’s previous bills, and the planting closed over inside a season.
Typical scope
- Scope Design & full construction
- Typical timeline 5 weeks
- Typical size 310m²
